In a country where stories of striking it rich are everywhere, anyone thinks such a thing is not only possible, but it's easily achievable. The storyline follows two destinies: one is of a young couple, Marius and Cosmina. Marius wrote an imaginary name on a lottery promotion ticket just to drag Cosmina. And the draw makes him the winner. The other is of two adults. Because of their lack of knowledge when it comes to modern technology, they get fooled by e-mail spam, fall for a false online lottery and loose their last savings. The stories meet at the end, when they loose all hope and refuse their only chance of getting rich. Finally we realize that the illusion of becoming rich puts ordinary people in extraordinary situations. Written by DaKINO from IMDb.com。志豪（刘德华饰演）与好友章英杰（李青山）及庄天栋三人一向喜爱体育运动。志豪任职体育用品推销员，一向热爱赛跑，亦时以身为赛跑好手为荣。他性格开朗活泼，自信心强。英杰性格沉实内向，为脱离父亲的摆布，在志豪的介绍下成为体育用品推销员，并受志豪影响爱上赛跑运动，更视运动为神圣使命。天栋则是羽毛球好手，头脑灵活的他一向处事圆滑，为求向上爬，不惜放弃运动，出卖自己人格，故意在比赛中输给对手。相反，志豪与英杰则互相扶持努力向职业跑手的路迈进。 可惜，好景不常，志豪与英杰在工作上因误会而起冲突，再加上二人同时对好友余文静产生爱意，令二人的友情受到前所未有的考验。英杰与文静相好，更令志豪意志消沉，心灰意冷，放弃赛跑。英杰耐心劝志豪重新练跑参加大赛，几经波折，志豪终被感动。大赛当日，志豪斗志激昂，誓与英杰在跑道上公平地决一高下。可是，向终点进发的他却迟迟未见英杰的身影，...。
