在中国东北的一个小镇上，宋海亮（宋晓峰饰）是一家酒厂的封箱工，他日常里没别的爱好，只喜欢喝酒和吹牛。酒厂经营不善濒临倒闭，而厂长因欠薪决意跑路。宋海亮带领工人追截，不得已，厂长将一仓库的存货交给了宋海亮。出乎意料的是，这批存货全是空纸箱。用买房的钱给同事发了工资，而今钱全打了水漂，宋海亮这回彻底灰心丧气。与此同时，在南方的一个小城市，冒充老板的销售代表熊初墨（林子聪饰），假意声称要签一笔大单。他打电话给东北酒厂，接到电话的宋海亮灵机一动，决定假装酒厂老板和熊见过面，签下这份订单。于是，“东北大酒鬼”遭遇“华南不倒翁”，啼笑皆非的故事接连上演……。Four adventurous teams of paranormal investigators will be hand-picked and given the chance to participate in the most extreme Paranormal experiment of all time.
