该片以记忆中的西塘河为背景，讲述西塘河边生活着的人们的翻天覆地的生活变化。电影的主线是青年企业家叶风带着父亲临终嘱托和一张老照片回到西塘，寻找父亲昔日的恋人，在寻找过程中，遇到了当地船娘荷花。男主角在帮父亲寻找昔日恋人的同时，也渐渐与荷花发生了情感纠葛，以及与此同时带出的跟荷花有关的一些人和事。通过电影的手法和艺术的加工来展示古镇西塘30年来的发展变化。。拥有一切的男子都俊，妻子和小孩都在国外生活，也因此他的疑心病变得更重了。某日他一个人喝完酒徘徊时，遇到了一位谜样的女子世莲，陷入她的魅力之中的都俊也因此卷入了某起事件……。Since the end of their pirate radio station, life has been quiet for the Kurupt FM boys, but everything is about to change.
