《走近皮克斯》共有四个章节，共20集。这一系列纪录短片将带领大家深入了解皮克斯动画台前幕后的精彩故事。第一章“灵感”于2020年11月13日在Disney+上线，每集约12分钟。 Produced by Pixar Animation Studios, Inside Pixar is directed by Erica Milsom and Tony Kaplan, the series offers insights into the personal and cinematic stories that provide an inside look into the people, artistry, and culture of Pixar Animation Studios.。天生拥有哭泣就能地动山摇能力的小灵官孟忧，因意外放走了没喝忘忧汤的李不归，让灵渊及姥姥陷入了困境，为弥补过失以及挽救姥姥的生命，孟忧主动请缨去到青川完成灌汤的任务，然而手不能提、肩不能抗的孟忧来到青川，却发现李不归已是青川第一杀手，武功奇高，为了接近李不归且顺利完成任务，孟忧开始了一段撒泼打滚，胡搅蛮缠的灌汤之路。。
