《凶灵请帖》故事以民国时期为背景，围绕绝世神宝“七星丹红”为线索，豪门深宅的乌家每个掌管七星丹红的人都会接到一张来自地狱的恐吓请帖，乌老爷不堪精神摧残抑郁而终，大女儿琦玉掌管七星丹红以后也收到了这张恐吓请帖，乌家人人自危觉得七星丹红有诅咒，原来是二太太为了得到七星丹红，设计陷害灵芸，而林之鹏接近乌家也另有目的，各个人物勾心斗角，日本人也想得到七星丹红，一场视宝藏为生命的抢夺大战即将开始……。The Cold War has ended, and the Russian government has decided get rid of a deadly bioweapon sample by returning it to the United States, from whom it had been stolen. Officer Hendricks has been assigned to pick up the virus sample and escort it back to America via submarine.
