The cryptic content leads Wisting to suspect a possible injustice in an old murder case where a 17-year-old girl was killed, and her ex-boyfriend was convicted。一对年轻的夫妇丹尼尔和劳拉来到摩洛哥度假，租了一辆汽车进入沙漠旅游。一时兴起他们决定离开主要公路冒险。但这逐渐成了他们的噩梦，他们不仅迷路，车子还出现了故障，这时一个在他们启程前就有一面之缘的陌生人再次出现了……。
