(Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。董建华（黄子华 饰）和丽莎（袁咏仪 饰）结婚多年，彼此之间感情十分要好，已经养育了一儿一女的丽莎如今腹中又怀上了一个新的生命，为她幸福的婚姻生活锦上添花。丽莎的母亲素宝（叶德娴 饰）从旅途中归来，暂住在女儿家，哪知道个性强硬的素宝和董建华之间发生了诸多的矛盾。 在一次激烈的争吵之后，素宝负气离家，却遇上了车祸，她的魂魄来到阴间，竟然见到了去世多年的丈夫埃文斯（秦沛 饰），丈夫告诉素宝，有一冤魂缠上了丽莎腹中的胎儿，在丈夫的帮助下，素宝返回阳界，拥有了通灵能力的她果然在丽莎的身后看到了名为阿萍（甄楚倩 饰）的女鬼，然而，素宝却不知道该拿这个女鬼怎么办。。影片讲述了藏族少年格桑为了找回装上运牛车的“牛王”，开始了一段从祁连到阳信的冒险旅程。是一个爱与信念的故事，深情诠释了援青人的家国情怀，企业家的责任担当，普通人的爱恨情仇。。
