1931年“九一八”事变后，日寇侵占东北，中国大学青年白乙化奉命潜回家乡辽阳，以教师身份为掩护暗中组织抗日力量。然而，行动屡遭威胁，敌我暗战交锋中，白乙化身份濒临暴露，生死一线。他能否在迷雾中揪出内奸，突破重围，扭转抗日危局？。The film follows the title character (Jonigkeit) as he navigates his search for a moral center, after an act of compassion upends his life. Looking to authority figures he encounters along the way — including his eventual cellmate, Gene (LaBeouf) — Henry’s journey leads him down a road of manipulation and ethical uncertainty.。
