记录Juan Catalan这名男子，在2003年被指控谋杀，然而当时他与他的女儿正在道奇球场观看比赛，即便Juan Catalan拿出自己的票根，还是无法支持他的不在场证明，要证明他自己的清白，只能从当天道奇球场5万6000名观众之中，找出他与女儿的影像，以此作为他的不在场证明。如此庞大的球场，又要如何找出与他女儿的身影呢？ 在被监禁了半年之后，Juan Catalan的律师找到了一个特殊的契机，终于能够证明璜的清白。当天在道奇体育馆，刚好有一个剧组正在拍摄，由赖瑞大卫（Larry David）所主演的喜剧实境秀，刚好在此地拍摄，而拍摄的片段也就如此刚好拍到了璜与他女儿的身影。 将近15年前的误判案件，现在在 Netflix 的製作下成了纪录片，其中包括了洛杉矶警察局（LAPD）如何采用错误的证词，检察官如何想尽办法定罪…等等的过程...。布兰克（约翰·库萨克 John Cusack 饰）是一名经验丰富的职业杀手，效忠于组织，深得上司的信赖与重用。然而，成日里躲躲藏藏打打杀杀的生活令布兰克感到十分疲惫，产生了金盆洗手的念头，可是，他所签署的合同却并不允许他有此想法。 这一次，布兰克的目标人物竟然生活在他的老家底特律，在那里，布兰克和曾经的女友德比（明妮·德里弗 Minnie Driver 饰）重逢了，这场意外的重逢让两人之间再度擦出了火花。之后，布兰克意外遭到袭击，凶徒是他的同行格罗希尔（丹·艾克罗伊德 Dan Aykroyd 饰），更让布兰克感到吃惊的是，他和格罗希尔所要刺杀的人，正是德比的父亲。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
