本片根据盘县淤泥河彝族青年同盟会员、革命烈士柳子南真实故事改编，讲述以柳子南为代表的200名彝族勇士，在1992年陈炯明叛变革命时为营救孙中山夫妇而壮烈牺牲的事迹。。故事的主人公阿甘是一个对未来没有期许、对任何事都“无所谓”的高三学生，某天，常年在外的父亲突然回家，对他严加管教，并阴差阳错地成为他的高中同桌，闹出许多啼笑皆非的故事，展现了父子两人爱和生命的双重觉醒。。Six people bound together by a traumatic experience decide to round off a year of group therapy in style. They join each other once more, traveling up to the Scottish Lowlands for a reunion weekend in a 1970s holiday let.
