A group of young offenders are delivered to an island for a week of character building exercises after one of their fellow inmates commits suicide.. It all goes horribly wrong when they realise that there′s someone else on the island who has a pack of dogs and a crossbow with which to hunt them down.。根据中寮乡爽文国中教导主任王政忠所著的畅销书《老师，你会不会回来》改编成电影。王政忠在921大地震发生后，回到实习的爽文国中，看到满目疮痍景象，学生哭着问：“老师，你会不会回来？”，让他决定回到该校任教，后来写成书，成为台湾翻转教育的领头羊之一。。
