BBC预订一部3集，以1949-50年代，伦敦诺丁山的连环杀人事件迷你剧《瑞灵顿街惊魂 Rillington Place》。Ed Whitmore及Tracey Malone负责编剧，3月底开拍。 《瑞灵顿街惊魂 Rillington Place》是根据真人真事改篇，讲述瑞灵顿街10号中（有部1971年电影曾描述此案），凶手John Christie﹑他的妻子Ethel及邻居Timothy Evans皆出现在剧中，探讨他们之间的关系﹑司法不公引致的悲剧及因此令英国废除死刑。 John Christie至少在他的住所绞杀了8个女人，包括他的妻子Ethel，其中3人被发现藏在厨房里，他因为杀妻而被定罪及被判绞刑。但可惜的是在此前他的邻居Timothy Evans被错误起诉，指他杀了自己妻子Beryl及女儿Geraldine，Timothy Evans在...。供职于某百货公司外商部的直美（广末凉子 饰）能力出众，但似乎因为女性的身份始终得不到重用，她为此深感郁闷。直美有一位大学好友加奈子（内田有纪 饰），最近刚刚搬到附近。加奈子目前是全职主妇，她的丈夫服部达郎（佐藤隆太 饰）是某银行的精英人士。好友的人生看似幸福完满，但加奈 子自婚后时常遭到丈夫家暴，她不断隐忍，痛不欲生。十分担心好友状况的直美，在和客户李朱美（高畑淳子 饰）的交往中偶然得到启示，而和服部长得一模一样的上海偷渡客林龙辉（佐藤隆太 饰）又让她似乎想到什么点子。在此之后，她尝试劝说加奈子，两人一起策划杀掉那个寡情薄意的暴君丈夫…… 本片根据奥田英朗的原作改编。。A broken man finds the one thing he can't live without only to lose it.
