John Kent (Randolph Scott), a former star football player at Harvard, goes to Paris with his friend Huck Haines (Fred Astaire) and the latter's dance band, the Wabash Indianians. Alexander Voyda (Luis Alberni) has booked the band, but refuses to let them play when he finds the musicians are not the Indians he expected, but merely from Indiana (Huck Haines and his Indianians Ban...。本作は、深川所属の芸能プロダクション「株式会社テンカラット」が設立25周年という節目に熊澤監督とタッグを組み、制作を企画したもの。『ユリゴコロ』や『ごっこ』でメガホンを取った熊澤監督が、自身の小説『おもいで写眞』（幻冬舎文庫）を実写映画化。“人が生きる豊かさと年を重ねる美しさ”をテーマに、夢に敗れ故郷へ戻った主人公・結子（深川）が祖父の残した写真館で遺影写真を撮り始め、その中で成長していく様を描き出す。。
