身负痛苦过往的电影导演近藤（小出惠介饰）身无分文地回到了他曾度过青春时代的银平町。偶然遇到了热爱电影的流浪汉佐藤（宇野祥平饰）和商业街一角濒临倒闭的电影院银平斯卡拉座的老板梶原（吹越满饰），开始借住在电影院中，通过与热爱电影的三两熟客的相处，渐渐揭开了昔日在恐怖电影圈中颇负盛名的他沦落至此的原因。It's amazing to have finally seen this lost film. Poor Mark Burns died this year without ever having seen the finished film! Why was it lost? It's quite good but I can understand that even if this film had a normal release in cinemas it would not have been a hit. It's too sad and tragic. The performances are great, tho.
