He has decided to leave, but a snow avalanche is crushed in the mountains, making it impossible for him to leave. Soon, inspector has found a body of a dead lodger. Everyone who lives in the hotel is under suspicion... (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。近未来，S组织已经掌握了基因改造技术，他们制造超级士兵，以此来改变世界格局。而其中初代的基因改造战士“巽狼”于实验中发生意外，他回想起已经被删除的片段记忆，曾经的名字“乾武”。于是他从S组织逃离，去寻找丢失的记忆。 在躲避组织的追杀过程中，乾武逐渐回想起了自己的过去，并通过寻找家人等一系列冒险的经历，最终找回真正的自我，完成了自我救赎……。
