太行山区搭衣岭村交通闭塞、贫穷落后。上世纪九十年代初，改革开放的春风吹至此地，农村业余剧团演员李增山与搭档杨彩霞冲破女方家人反对，相爱结婚并艰苦创业。成功后，他应乡领导之请回村任村长，带领村民利用山水资源开发旅游，让全村脱贫。二十年后，李增山成为著名企业家，无法接受儿子李天水爱上带孩少妇，父子俩展开了顽强的心理攻势。。A traveling cellist gets involved with two disturbed sisters on their way to Seattle to tell their mom that their dad has just passed away. On the way, the two kill a judge and a few others unknown to the cellist. Eventually he gets pinned for the crimes and is forced to defend himself.。
