本片借两对男女互相间的滥情、妒忌和背叛来制造笑料。流浪汉布杜被一个好心的书商从塞纳河中救起并收留，书商的太太和女佣对好吃懒做的布杜非常厌恶，流浪汉非但不感恩戴德，还勾引书商的太太和女仆，把他家搞得鸡犬不宁。偏偏书商本身也与女佣有染，这两对男女的爱情烂账，终于决定要用一场婚宴来解决。。A man goes against the laws of God and man to help a friend, with unfortunate consequences, in this stylish drama from Turkish filmmaker Dervis Zaim.
