本作は『スーパーロボット大戦』の名を冠する初のアニメーション作品である。ただし、タイトル通り版権作品の登場しない『OG』シリーズの枠の中でのリリースとなっている。『OG2』終了後の物語であり、そこで起きた「バルトール事件」をアニメ化したオリジナルストーリー。 制作会社は、TVアニメ『スーパーロボット大戦OG -ディバイン・ウォーズ-』のOLMではなくブレインズ・ベース。 ドラマCDは、OVAに登場しないキャラの物語に加え、OVA前日談とおちゃらけた後日談となっている。また、本編での説明不足の部分はかなり補足されている。。Each year, a father films his daughter on her birthday, asking her the same questions. In just 29 minutes, we watch her grow from a toddler to a young woman with all the beautiful and awkward stages in between. Each phase is fleetingly captured but leaves an indelible mark.
