Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。故事发生在1989年的香港，阿B是一名见习医生。内心里充满了正义感的他见到不公平的事情和制度总喜欢挺身而出据理力争，反观他的好友阿牛，遇事只会懦弱的躲藏在阿B的身后，两人的性格大相径庭。可是，正由于阿B强烈的个性，导致了他的导师朱教授对他的反感，在毕业考试中，成绩优异的阿B落榜了，而一直平平无奇的阿牛反倒以优异的成绩毕业。 之后，阿B成为了一名社会工作者，并在工作中结识了名为阿梅（李嘉欣饰）的女孩，阿梅非常欣赏阿B刚正不阿的性格，和她的男友形成了鲜明的对比。久而久之，阿梅渐渐的对阿B产生了别样的感情。。故事发生在遥远的未来，彼时，人类早已经开始向月球移居，然而，移居到月球上的人类，和留在地球上的人类之间产生了无法调解的矛盾最终爆发了激烈的战争，最终，在月球上生活的人类同地球彻底划清了界限，建立的自己的国家，两颗星球之间完全属于断联的状态。 一晃眼几百年过去，月球和地球之间的关系好不容易得到了缓和，两者之间建立了“满弦崎中央联络港市”作为联络的渠道。朝雾达哉（千叶进步配音）是一名平凡的青年，就读于满弦崎大学附属的卡特琳娜学院，达哉自幼失去了父亲，和姐姐沙也加（本山美奈配音）、妹妹麻衣（安玖深音配音）一起过着相依为命的生活。一天，沙也加告诉达哉，月球的公主要来地球拜访，而他们的家则成为了公主的暂住地。。
