Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。唐僧师徒行至狮驼岭，遇到被妖怪所抓的狮驼族村民。悟空营救其族人时被妖怪识破。悟空八戒各自为战，大意轻敌，众人中计，三大王凭三大法器大败悟空，放出消息说唐僧已被生食。失魂落魄的悟空寻佛祖相助，懂得了孤雁难飞、需要团结协作的道理。三兄弟合力，幸得菩萨相助，最终解救剩余百姓，师徒四人继续西行，合作无间。。
